Children and Orthotics

In many cases, children having flat feet (or fallen arches) can be totally normal, so don’t panic if you notice that your child has what looks like a flat foot – especially if they’re not in any immediate pain.

In other cases, however, as children grow – especially if they’re active – they can develop aches and pain in their heels, arches, shins, knees and even hips. In these cases, it can be worth checking, as in most cases, a simple intervention can go a long way to improving their ability to keep doing what they love.

So if your child complains of any pain, or looks like they might be limping during sport – or even withdrawing from sport all of a sudden, we’d love to meet them!

Until then, meet Kerryn…she’s got it sorted.
